Two Icons to Share

On Friday I received a large wooden crate containing two icons that June and I had commissioned as gifts to The Church of the Good Shepherd (Episcopal) in Covington, GA. On Saturday morning I photographed them so that you might enjoy looking at them. And tomorrow I will re-crate them and send them on to Fr. Tim Graham, the rector of The Church of the Good Shepherd.

The icon on the left is called "Theotokos and Child"; the icon on the right is "The Good Shepherd." The icons will be installed in the narthex of a new church sanctuary and will be blessed at the consecration of the building by the Bishop of Atlanta on April 20.
