Leslie doing fine!

Yesterday Leslie wrote to say that the surgery on the back of her neck went well. The procedure, she says, was "just at two hours"; the surgeon worked on four nerves so that in the future they won't produce nearly as much pain. But for now, Leslie says that she's "rather sore and brused, and will feel worse before [she] gets better . . . . With luck, [she] should be back at work on Wednesday. Right now it's ice packs, warm compresses, tea and toast, percet and asprin. " In closing, she sends her "love to all." And we send ours to you, Leslie!
